Hurricane Hollow
Bartow County, GA

Hurricane Hollow is the valley of a small stream having its source between Bee Mountain and Pine Mountain,
running generally south until it enters the Etowah River.   The valley was a source for iron ore used in nearby
Cooper's Furnace, and evidence still exists of mining activity that took place there from the mid 1800's onward.
