I had frequently noticed Paris's Mill on CW maps of the Atlanta Campaign, and as it was situated
close to our home, I was curious to see what, if anything, remained at the site.   Except for those
maps, few references to the mill can be found, and little physical evidence remains of the mill itself.

The remains of an old road bed, supported by a stone retaining wall, lead to Mill Creek:

The mill site is barely discernible, and the following is assumption:

Mill_dam_base
This was likely the site of the mill dam.

The boulders adjacent to the flat creek bed here would seem to indicate the dam location.

Drill_hole
Several of the large boulders here exhibit drill holes for splitting the rock,
indicating their use for some man-made structure.

Just downstream from the likely dam site, the creek is littered with field stone, which is
only seen at this location in the creek.   My guess is that these are foundation stones
from the old mill or dam, possibly washed down from the 2009 floods, if not earlier.

Flat stones just below the dam location.
