The Alston Family Cemetery is a small burial place on an overgrown knoll near the old Mountain Scene community of Towns County.   It contains three known graves, only one of which is identified by a carved stone.   The other two graves are marked by plain field stones.   This cemetery is on private property.

Alston-base
Base of broken gravestone of Charlie B. Alston (1820-1899).
Side lighting enhanced the lettering in the sunny conditions that were poor for photography.

Alston-top
Top of broken gravestone of Charlie Alston.
It's been lying in a position conducive to moss growth, making it more difficult to read.
