1 - Falls on Bean Creek, White Co. I came across these falls on my way to a chimney at an old homesite in Sautee-Nacoochee.

I found this photo of the falls in an 1896 publication on Georgia Waterpower. The water flow above the falls has shifted to the left over the past 130 years.

A February 2023 re-visit A big tree had fallen from the rim down into the pool on the left side.

2 - Kilby Mill Falls, Rabun Co.

What a mess!   January 2022 A disappointing view of the falls, choked with deadfall.

For comparison, here's a Bernie Boyer shot from 2016. The big log has been there for a long time.   Interestingly, on Bernie's first visit back in 1997, these falls were covered with deadfall similar to their current appearance.

With so much of the waterfall blocked by fallen trees, I just took a few isolation shots of sections of the falls.

3 - Jacuzzi Falls on Dick's Crk, Rabun Co.

Jacuzzi Falls There's a rock ledge just out of the frame at the bottom of this image, which made this pool look like a Jacuzzi tub from the right angle, but a large fallen tree (lower left) has ruined that effect.

4 - Cupid Falls, on Corn Creek, Towns Co. I was here for some water quality monitoring, so decided to take a few shots.   I hadn't been here in a number of years...

7 - Waterfall on tributary of Smell Creek, Union Co. It had been raining all day, and started again as I got here.   The steep slope next to the falls was a saturated, slippery mess!

Middle Falls There is a lower falls just below here, but it was covered by recent deadfall.

Upper Falls

8 - Waterfall on tributary of Shooting Tree Branch, Union Co.

Waterfall, with a small cavern off to the left This has been called Cave Falls by some, due to the modest grotto alongside it.
