| July 21, 2024 - Rising buds Based on prior years, I knew that it was time to check out the buds on the orchids. Sure enough, the erect buds were forecasting a bloom for the following day! |

| 1 - July 22, 2024 - First Flowering of the Year Our population always has its first bloom within a day or so of this date! |

| Three Birds Orchids (Triphora trianthophoros) I had noticed that, with our recent rains, bugs had been chewing on many of the plants. Fortunately all four of these buds made it through the night and flowered! |
