1 - Late July, 2024

It seemed like a good day to visit a few of my favorite mid summer wildflower
spots in the general Buck Creek - Corundum Knob vicinity.

2 - Early August, 2024

I hoped to catch a certain Liatris in bloom, but it was still in bud.
So I found a few other subjects...

The flowers were more open than when I had seen these plants 10 days earlier.

They were mostly bloomed out for the year.

Two and a half weeks after my previous visit,
I returned to catch the Liatris in bloom.
