On my way home from a bog monitoring & exploration, I stopped by the usual spot.   And as usual, it had recently been mowed and the orchids were gone.   Fortunately there are a few areas that don't get mowed.

Yellow {Orange} Fringed Orchid   (Platanthera ciliaris)
This plant was actually about 20 miles to the west, although still along Hwy 180!

The plants were just beginning to flower, so none were in full bloom.

Slender Ladies' Tresses   (Spiranthes lacera var. gracilis)
I didn't see as many as I recall, but you never know with orchids...
