| I spotted a colony of orchids in a low swale |

| The orchids were in bud; most likely Platanthera clavellata |

| 2 - Late July, more orchids: |

| Two weeks later, the orchids were starting to flower, and I was certain of their identification: Green Woodland Orchid, aka Club Spur Orchid or Green Rein Orchid (Platanthera clavellata) |
