| Late April - Early May, 2026 I led two field trips here during the Georgia Botanical Society's 2026 Spring Pilgrimage, based in Clayton, GA. These images are a combination of photos taken during the Friday and Saturday walks, as well as from my scouting visit a few days before. |

| Mottled Wild Ginger (Asarum shuttleworthii) These are one of my favorite Asarums, with larger flowers than many of the other "little brown jugs" species. |

| Small Spreading Pogonia (Cleistesiopsis bifaria) I first discovered this population several years ago. As mentioned, the area is due for a prescribed burn, and I didn't see that many flower stalks this year. This species responds well to fire. |
