| After an afternoon closer to home, monitoring GA's only Platanthera herbiola site, and then surveying an Isotria medeoloides population, I decided to make my semi-annual visit to Kimsey Bald. Since I'd already done a good amount of walking, and in the interest of time, I decided to concentrate on the mid slopes and not climb to the summit on this visit. |

| Four Yellow Lady's Slippers I was here eight days later than in 2024, and many of the LS flowers were already spent. Only the one in the rear was half decent. |
