This mama bear and cub were our first Cove bear sighting. |

It was almost dusk when we spotted this one settling in for a nap, high up in the fork of a tree east of Cades Cove |

Mama and three cubs were in this field at mid-day. (The 3rd cub was lagging behind, playing...) They crossed the road and headed into the woods. |
